HOW IT WORKS

God has given us an incredible open door in a private bilingual school right here in our city. We have partnered with this school to allow teachers to spend one full year teaching in Honduras. Applicants would come to Honduras in August and begin the school year after a few weeks of orientation and training. Teachers would teach at the school during the day, creating relationships with students, coworkers, and parents with the goal of plugging them into the new church plant. Teachers would volunteer with the ministry during evenings and weekends in rural communities and in our inner city church plant and work with street kids and friends experiencing homelessness.

WHO CAN APPLY

2 program options

Applicants who hold a degree in education: teachers who hold a professional teaching degree will be assigned to core classes
such as Math, Science, English, and Reading. These teachers will be assigned a homeroom or be grade-level guides ensuring consistent and meaningful engagement with students.

Applicants who DO NOT hold a degree in education- applicants without a degree will be assigned to non-core classes such as Bible, Art, P.E., Social Studies, music, or library. These teachers will likely teach multiple grade levels.
